Welcome to Greater Louisville Aging In Place Alliance

“Aging In Place” is growing older without having to move.

According to the Journal of Housing for the Elderly, Aging in Place is not having to move from one’s present residence in order to secure necessary support services in response to changing need.

The Greater Louisville Aging In Place Alliance is comprised of many different industry professionals who can assist the growing needs of “Aging In Place” adults in their current residence and beyond.

These include:

Policy Makers & Advocates

Home Modification Resources

Home Support Resources

Financial Resources

Health & Rehab Services

Transition Services

Nursing & Assisted Living Facilities

Americans of all ages value their ability to live independently. Without a plan for aging in place, it can be hard to stay in control of your life. Knowing your health risks and financial options can make a big difference in your ability to stay in a familiar place and/or to move to that next place when necessary.

To help you plan properly, we invite you to utilize the senior support network in the greater Louisville area. You can find and contact GLAIPA members by visiting the Directory page of our website.
